Kraft is 100% sustainable, and among one of the most popular packaging materials in the world. It is much more sustainable to manufacture kraft compared to regular paper. Kraft is produced from all-natural ingredients such as pulp from all types of wood, while regular paper uses specific woods. Bleaching is also not involved, which maintains the strength of the paper and decreases manufacturing costs. Kraft paper is also a lightweight packaging material.
Eco Mask Tape: 100% Eco Friendly Masking tape.
Biodegradable Bulk Bags: These biodegradable (oxo-degradable) grip seal bags are made from medium duty polythene which has an additive which acts as a catalyst, accelerating the degradation process.
The polythene will first degrade and then biodegrade into inert matter in a few months rather than years or centuries.
The bags have a discreet 'Biodegradable' logo on them, in the bottom corner. (Size Dependant)
These bags are heavy metal free and will biodegrade into carbon dioxide, water, biomass and minerals.
Biodegradable Stickers: They are extremely high quality, have many applications and are eco friendly.
Biodegradable Tissue: Acid Free (ph neutral), Recyclable and FSC approved, Made from 25% recycled material.
Pouches: Our pouches vary in materials used depending on availability and of course price! Where possible, we use Compostable OR Biodegradable pouches - these are expensive and sometimes can take months to deliver. We otherwise use fully recyclable pouches, made from recycled material. Today, we are a small fish in a big pond trying to do better with our packaging while keeping the costs down, which, is HARD! But we must persevere, as one day, we will be one of millions, using better more sustainable materials at a more affordable cost. But it starts with a few, like any movement - we have to do our best to get the ball rolling and wait and watch for more to follow!
